A clever, durable way to bring motion and light into ordinary Lego sets without a separate ecosystem to buy into first.
Lego's Smart Brick line snaps a small battery, Bluetooth chip and RGB light straight into a stud-and-tube brick that's still fully compatible with everything sitting in your existing bins, and that compatibility is the whole reason it's worth taking seriously. I built it into three different City sets and an old Technic model over a long weekend, and it never once felt like a novelty part that only worked inside its own dedicated box.
