Game Studio · iOS & Android

We make games, and you can download them on iOS and Android.

PlayflixGames is a small development team building casual games for phones and tablets, released on the App Store and Google Play. We also review the games, tech products and websites we spend our own time with, every verdict out of 10.

The studio

PlayflixGames started with a few developers trading notes on the games we loved and the tools we used to make them, and it turned into a studio. We design our own titles, build them, break them, hand them to friends who play nothing like we do, and then put them out on the App Store and Google Play.

The reviews are the other half of the site. Shipping a game changes how you play one: you notice the checkpoint that respects your time, the menu that hides its best setting, the website that loads before you blink. Every review here gets written through that lens, with reader ratings sitting right beside our verdict.

What we make

Our catalog leans casual and pick-up-and-play: arcade runs short enough to finish waiting for a bus, and puzzle games that stay friendly for an hour and then quietly stop being friendly. Everything gets designed for a phone screen first, tested on hardware we own rather than a simulator, and patched after release when players find the thing we missed.

New titles go out on both stores together, and we keep updating them afterwards instead of moving on.
